Philips just announced its line of new LCD TVs with LED backlights at CES 2011: the 4000, 5000, and 6000 series.
The 4000 series come in three sizes: the $749 40-inch 40PFL4706, the $999 46-inch 46PFL4706, and the $1499 55-inch 55PFL4706. All three feature LED backlights.
The 5000 series also come in the exact three sizes: $679 40PFL5706, $899 46PFL5706, and $1099 55PFL5706. These models sports a 1920x1080 pixel format, 120Hz frequency, and wireless connectivity. Available in April/May.
The 6000 series adds 3D and come in three sizes, too: $999 40PFL6706, $1299 46PFL6706, and $1699 55PFL6706. Available in September.
