Samsung and RealD Together Announce RDZ: RDZ LCD TVs makes the LCD panel itself an active switching and allows for non-active switching RealD glasses to be worn. The benefit is watching 3D at the LCD's full pixel format.
Samsung Infuse 4G: An Android 2.2 smartphone with a new Super AMOLED Plus display. Compared to the non-Plus version the Super AMOLED Plus technology has 50% more sub-pixels that improves contrast and outdoor readability. The Infuse 4G has an 8 megapixel camera on the back and a front-facing 1.3 megapixel camera. The HSPA+ ("4G") smartphone is powered by a 1.2GHz single-core Hummingbird CPU.
Samsung 9 Series Notebook: 13.3-inch notebook PC by Samsung is claimed to be the thinnest and lightest in the world. It weighs 2.89 pounds and 0.68 inches thick. There is no optical drive, but has: Ethernet, HDMI, USB, Core i5 2537M CPU, 128GB SSD, 4GB RAM, and backlit keyboard. The 13.3-inch LCD sports a LED backlight with a brightness of 400 nits. Priced at about $1600.
Samsung Sliding PC 7 Series: The Sliding PC is a Windows 7 hybrid tablet with a QWERTY keyboard. The 10.1-inch LCD features a 1366x768 pixel format, 340 nits and touch capability. Other specs include: 32GB or 64GB SSD, 2GB RAM, Windows 7 Home Premium, USB, HDMI, 4-in-1 card reader, ambient light sensor, and 1.3 megapixel webcam. Priced at $699.
Samsung LED 8000 Series LCD TV: Comes in four sizes: 46, 55, 60, 65. The metal bezel is just 0.2-inch thick. The 8000 series has an unique feature that supports Bluetooth 3D glasses, instead of the typical IR-based connectivity. Other specs include: Micro Dimming Plus, 240Hz, 1920x1080, WiFi, and are Skype ready.
