Selling Condos Using Interactive Digital Signage

IDT launches chip to connect four displays
techeye.net- Integrated Device Technology has launched what it says is the world’s first DisplayPort based device which allows users to connect up to four monitors to a single DisplayPort connection. The IDT VMM1400 multi-monitor controller is compatible with the VESA DisplayPort v1.1a and HDMI v1.3. It uses one DisplayPort input port and four HDMI or DVI output ports. Click here to read more..

Is AUO working on OLED lighting panels?
oled-info.com- We know that AUO is back into AMOLED production, with plans for a Gen 3.5 factory (whichwill go in line in 2011). AUO has a daughter company called Wellypower Optronics. Wristband Computing Is Closer Than You Think
pcworld.com- Wrist-mounted displays have long been the stuff of legend in science fiction. Whether it’s the Pip-Boy 3000 from Fallout 3 or Dick Tracy’s multifunction watch, the idea of having information within arms’ reach is very appealing. Thanks to new technology and the U.S. Army, a wristband display may be within our reach. Most displays use Liquid Crystal Display, or LCD technology, which requires layers of light-emitting material, glass and filters, which makes for a cumbersome, rigid and power-hungry display that’s not practical, especially in a combat situation. Hitachi Introduces TFT LCD Display Modules

azooptics.com- The 4.3" TX11D04VM2AAA TFT display delivers resolution of 480 x 272 pixels, and has dimension of 105.5 x 67.2 x 2.9 mm. It has a 24-bit, 40-pin CMOS RGB interface that enables a maximum of 16.7 million colors to be shown. The 350cd/m² brightness and the 550:1 contrast ratio make sure the display images are well-defined. The TX11D04VM2AAA TFT display consumes a minimal power of 49 mW. The 3.5” TX09D30VM1CDA display, weighing 40 g, has a dimension of 64 x 86 x 6.7 mm, and a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. Its 18-bit, 40-pin CMOS RGB interface supports a maximum of 262 K colors. The display also has an onboard power supply circuit, and an LED backlight controller. The 2.4" TX06D126VM0AAA TFT display has a dimension of 41.9 x 61.5 x 2.6 mm. Hitachi’s white LED backlight and IPS make sure an improved optical performance is attained from any viewing angle. The display also has a display RAM and an 80 series CPU interface. Samsung sends auditors from Korea to audit Australia biz operations
samsunghub.com- Samsung HQ in South Korea have sent 13 auditors to Australia to check on the region’s operations. The report from Smarthouse claims that the surprise audit is a result of a tip-off from a former Samsung executive alleging irregularities in the sale of second goods. Samsung auditors are currently probing 10-year old transactions and even the relationship of Samsung Australia execs with two different companies – QQ Discounts and Korean-owned company known as Samsung Concept Store.
