Samsung: If Apple Can Patent Shapes, We’re Going to Corner the Market on Screen Sizes "The Korean electronics giant on Monday announced plans for the Galaxy Player 5.8, a Wi-Fi-only device with a 5.8-inch screen, meaning that one can now get a Samsung product in any screen size from three inches to 10 inches without a significant gap." via All Things D

Samsung’s First All-in-One Transparent Display "Samsung’s 22” transparent display (NL22B) is a new type of product, available as an all-in-one showcase, launching a new era of possibilities in digital retail design. New display independent 720P 3D format launching "A new universal 3D video format will be announced at IBC capable of 1280 horizontal resolution and glasses free 3D within a backward compatible signal.
