AUO Slovakia Module Plant Dedicated

"The plant will be able to reach a capacity of 240k per month by the end of 2011. With the joining of AUO Slovakia in LCD module manufacturing, high quality and value-added support will be offered to the European clients. "The Flexible Display Center (FDC) at Arizona State University today announced that it has installed and completed final acceptance of Sunic Systems' GEN-II OLED SUNICEL Plus 400 vacuum evaporation and encapsulation process tool. AU Optronics countersues Samsung in United States

"Display maker, AU Optronics has retaliated to Samsung’s lawsuit by countersuing the Korean’s Electronics division along with its customers AT&T, Best Buy and BrandsMart USA. AU Optronics says Samsung and its customers infringe 10 of their patents related to LCD used in TV, monitors, notebooks and OLED used in mobile phones." via Samsung Hub

CPT aims at breakeven by end of year, says group chairman Lin indicated
