ALTIERRE UNVEILS E-PAPER PRODUCT FAMILY FOR DIGITAL SIGNS AND PRICE TAGS

Display Alliance would like to thank Altierre CEO Sunit Saxena for taking the time to respond to our questions. For more information, please visit www.altierre.com.

1. What advantages does e-Paper bring to the Digital Signage industry? BRIGHTER BACKGROUNDS AND BETTER READABILITY.

2. What do retail companies consider most when choosing digital signage displays? IT VARIES, BUT FUNDAMENTALLY IT'S ECONOMICS. HAPPY TO DISCUSS THIS FURTHER.

3. How does Altierre see the digital signage industry evolving in the future? DIGITAL SIGNGAGE IS GOING TO BECOME MORE AND MORE PERVASIVE, SIMILAR TO KIOKS TODAY. THE ABILITY TO REMOTELY CHANGE INFORMATION AND KEEP IT CURRENT ACROSS THOUSANDS OF LOCATIONS, AND WHEN YOU THROW IN CHEAP BATTERY OPERATED DEVICES IT BECOMES EXPLOSIVE IN THE FUTURE.

4. What is Altierre working on next? Are you excited about anything in particular? WE HAVE SEVERAL INITIATIVES ON OUR ROADMAP WHICH WE CANNOT DISCUSS OPENLY. BUT, THE KEY THEME IS BRINGING THE ABILITY TO HAVE THOUSANDS OF CONNECTED DEVICES WHICH CAN DISPLAY OR SENSE INFORMATION AND BE UPDATED REMOTELY FROM A CENTRAL LOCATION. SO THEN THIS WOULD APPLY TO A VAST RANGE OF INDUSTRIES FROM RETAIL TO MANUFACTURING TO HOTELS, ETC. ETC.
