Tek Panel Expands it’s Product Range with 55” and 70” All-in-One Computers

Tek Panel 550 Uses LED Backlight; Tek Panel 700 Features Powerful PC and 70” Display
SUGAR GROVE, IL — May 28, 2010 —Tek Panel formally announced full-scale production capabilities for two of their newest models: the Tek Panel 550 and the Tek Panel 700, bring the total number of display sizes available for their all-in-one computers to 11.  The full Tek Panel product line includes completely integrated PCs available in 15”, 19”, 24”, 32”, 37”, 42”, 46”, 55”, 57”, 70” and the quad high definition 56” Tek Panel UHR 560.

Tek Panel has specialized in engineering and producing large format LCD computers for over 7 years, but the addition of the Tek Panel 550 and the Tek Panel 700 demonstrates the company’s commitment to adapting to marketplace and using the best technology available to produce their products.

Tek Panel 550’s Display is Brilliant and Efficient
“Our current Tek Panel models are engineered to be energy-efficient within the confines of available LCD technology, but the LED backlighting used by the display of the Tek Panel 550 allows for even more efficient energy-consumption,” says John Bastian, Tek Panel CEO.  “It also delivers the best display experience available, with a 1,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and 240Hz refresh rate.”

The 55” LED backlit LCD display used by the Tek Panel 550 is a commercial-grade display, designed to run over 5 years at 24/7 usage.

Tek Panel 700 Ideal for Conference Rooms and Classrooms
The commercial-grade 70” display used in the brand new Tek Panel 700 is made by Samsung, the world-wide leader in display technology.  The size and brilliance of the display will make the Tek Panel 700 shine in conference rooms and classrooms, but the technology built into the Tek Panels is what makes them useful and innovative.  Tek Panel is an exclusive OEM reseller of Hitachi Starboard Digital Annotation Suite software.  When installed on any Tek Panel, Starboard transforms any Tek Panel with touch screen into an interactive digital whiteboard.

“The Tek Panel Digital Whiteboards have been very popular in normal classrooms and smaller board rooms,” says Mr. Bastian, “but they didn’t always work well in larger rooms.   The Tek Panel 550 and Tek Panel 700 now provides our customers with a complete all-in-one multimedia and whiteboard solution for the larger rooms, eliminating the need for traditional AV equipment such as the LCD projector, laptop and other antiquated devices.”
